“This small building with ten luxury apartments is located in Eugene, Oregon; construction: reinforced lightweight concrete block with slate-like stone veneer towards the street.

The stone veneer is of beige color with greenish spots and mica flakes interspersed. The masonry has a dark turquoise weatherproof latex acrylic paint. Balcony walk is surfaced with slate, wood trim of Western Cedar and Douglas Fir is stained charcoal black. Railing panels are of dark red Glassweld (enameled asbestos cement panels). Various decorative plastic panels were used inside and out. Many living areas have matched veneer walnut wall paneling. Two units are of row-house type.

Above the roof is a penthouse with free-standing fire place and built-in bar. Living areas and stairs have wall to wall carpeting. Kitchens, baths and hallways have vinyl flooring, and bedrooms have parquet floors. All kitchens are built-in with birch veneer facing and Formica tops. Row-house apartments have small patio to the rear. Murals in walkways between the two wings on block wall are by the architect.

The heating system is of radiant type with electric heating wires embedded in the plastered ceiling”
